The purpose of this blog
I have started this blog as an online diary. Though any reader chancing by may find that my posts are often about the realms of politics, religion, food, literature, science and art, and equally often related to Turkey, I have catholic tastes. And while I, like Fitzwilliam, am shy, I shall try not to get that to stand in the way. From this online virtual Pemberley, I intend to comment - sometimes caustically - on everything that interests me.
